How to Copy a Minecraft Map?A lot of people want to know how to copy a Minecraft map. Well, the easiest way to do this is to make sure you are loaded up with the latest version of Minecraft. This might sound crazy, but it is the truth.You see, a lot of people are going out and getting the old versions of Minecraft and updating them. This is because they are getting tired of all the new mods and things that were added to the game. One thing that has come out of this is the fact that there are a lot of modded maps out there. You can find one that looks just like yours for free online.All you have to do is go to the Minecraft download site, which is usually download.minecraft.net. When you get to the download page, make sure you select the 'minecraft beta' download option. You will need to save it onto your computer's hard drive, which should already be there.Now, when you want to copy a Minecraft map to your computer, all you have to do is download the map and put it into a folder on y our computer. You should then save this folder onto your desktop in a place where you can easily find it when you need it.The next thing you should do is open a command prompt window by right clicking the start button, then select run. Once this is done, you should do a right click in the window and click open command prompt window. Then, type in the following command: minecraft -mc coyWhat this is going to do is create a new folder in your computer and then copy the contents of the Minecraft map into this folder. After you have done this, you should then be able to copy the folder out of the Minecraft install folder, right click the folder and select properties. Once this is done, you can then go ahead and start up Minecraft.Just like that, you should now be able to use your copy of the Minecraft map.
